7 Days - 6 Nights

Visit the Dragons, snorkel or dive the famous dive sites, relax on white and pink sandy beaches.

Komodo National Park, in the Flores sea is a world heritage site. Komodo owns its unique geology to volcanic activity many years ago. The scenery is stunning both above and below sea level. The islands feature wide savannah plains with patches of forests, white sandy beaches and blue lagoons teeming with fish. In Komodo you will find one of the most spectacular underwater sceneries in the world. Divers and travellers all around the globe come to see and experience this truly amazing variety of marine life. Experience the beauty of Indonesia onboard of a luxurious yacht. This itinerary is especially made for you and brings you to the highlights of the amazing world of Komodo. By boat you have the opportunity to see deserted places and truly enjoy nature to the fullest.

Labuan Bajo to Sebayur

Day 1

A short domestic flight will take you from Bali to Labuan Bajo in Flores.A representative of the ship will greet you on arrival, assist you with your luggage and escort you to the ship that is anchored in the Labuan Bajo harbour. Once onboard you will enjoy welcome refreshments and a tour around the ship, you will also meet the crew and attend a safety briefing. Once you have settled in your journey can begin. The ship will depart for a 2 hour sailing trip to Sebayur island, once arrived, lunch will be served. This first afternoon is at leisure, enjoy a snorkel tour or try out an introductory dive in the beautiful waters surrounding the island. The reef here is a perfect spot for a check dive while surrounded by Black Tip sharks, big school of Tuna and Green turtles.

 

As the day ends with a stunning sunset over the Komodo hills, the evening rounds out with a Wonderfull meal onboard of your ship. The ship will moor overnight in a beautiful secluded cove.

Gili Lawa Darat

Day 2

Wake up on board of your beautiful accommodation and watch Komodo come to life in the early morning light. After feasting on a full gourmet breakfast the ship will set sail to Gili Lawa Darat. This voyage will take approximately 2, 5 hours. This island is located at the northern end of Komodo National Parc. Here you will find a savannah island covered with grass. Diving and snorkelling here is spectacular. There will be plenty of time to explore the reefs and beaches before lunch. Chill out on one of the beaches or try some kayaking. In the afternoon we head south to some famous dive sites such as Manta point. During our time at sea you can relax, enjoy the weather and watch the scenery pass by. The ship will moor fort he night in Turtle Bay of Komodo Island.

Pink Beach

Day 3

After a superb breakfast we head ashore tot he most beautiful pink beach. The beach owes its name to the bright pink colour formed by crushed coral blended with white sand. This pristine beach is perfect for snorkelling and diving as there is a beautiful reef just in front of the beach. We also have the opportunity to go trekking and see the famous Komodo Dragon. Guided by park rangers the hike will take you hidden paths where we find local wildlife in abundance. During this trek which will take around 2, 5 hours while we are on the outlook for exotic birdlife and flying lizards in their natural habitat. After 2 hours we will encounter the famous and fascinating dragon. When we return to the ship a well deserved and exquisite lunch will be served. Late afternoon the ship will set sail to Toro Longkoi where ships moors for the night.

Manta Point

Day 4

After breakfast we visit one of the well-known dive sites Manta point, which is located in the south west of Komodo. Manta point is home to the infamous giant Manta rays. It is calles a cleaning station as they come here to clean themselves. You will have the opportunity to swim or dive surrounded by Manta Rays, they will perform an underwater ballet for you just inches tot he touch.A truly once in a lifetime experience!This area is characterised by its topography, three rocks in this deep bay are covered in a variety of colourful soft and hard coral gardens, home to a large number of fish including species such as Bumphesd Parrotfish, Napoleon Wrasse, Barracuda and many more. After lunch we head for another location for yet another exiting dive. Here turtles seem to be everywhere. You can also see giant Trevally, White tip reef sharks. Sometimes Dugongs or dolphins show up. An afternoon spend on a deserted beach or some watersport activities. The day ends with another spectaculair sunset in a private bay.

Nusa Kode

Day 5

Today our next stop is Nusa Kode, also called Horseshoe bay. Diving spots around Nusa Kode are really off the beaten track. Yellow Wall and Cannibal Rock are spots where one can enjoy an individual one off diving experience. On these pristine corals you can find rare species such as Mandarin Fish and Pygmy seahorses. We are treated to a rare display of wild Komodo Dragons that roam free, waiting for the sound of a boat engine. Here we will be able to get up close in our speedboat to these rare animals. you can try your hand at line fishing and catch some fresh fish for our chef. He will turn your catch of the day into a delicious sashimi dinner while we prepare for another beautiful sunset.

Padar Island

Day 6

After an early breakfast, we head for Padar island where we anchor in a bay surrounded by stunning beaches. Padar island is the third largest island of Komodo National Park, it is famous for its endless, deserted white beaches. A dive is scheduled at W reef. This reef consists of 3 submerged pinnacles covered in beautiful soft corals. We search here for Frogfish and the rare Pygmy seahorse. As the waters in these bays are flat and calm, they are perfect for water sports such as wake boarding and waterskiing. The ship will drop anchor in a secluded cove where we set up a beach barbecue on a soft sandy beach. While stargazing, relax on soft cushions and feast on the freshest seafood on offer, caught during daytime sailing and specially prepared for you by our chef.

Back to Labuan Bajo

Day 7

Early morning the ship lifts anchor and heads back to Labuan Bajo on Flores. After breakfast is served and it is time to pack your bags and prepare to disembark. Your luggage will be transported tot he airport and depending on the time of flight a tour through the local market Batu Cermin can be made. Transfer to the airport will be arranged from this point and our representative will assist you until you are ready to board your flight.
