Drawing inspiration from the black-water lagoons of the Peruvian Amazon, Aqua Nera presents a contemporary approach to luxury river cruising in one of the world’s most biodiverse regions. Designed for immersive travel, this award-winning vessel combines modern architecture with a clear sense of place, offering a composed and well-balanced environment throughout the journey.
Accommodating up to 40 guests across 20 spacious design suites, Aqua Nera is spread across three well-planned decks that prioritize space, flow, and privacy. Each suite features floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, allowing uninterrupted views of the river and rainforest. Interiors by renowned architects Noor Design blend contemporary elegance with subtle references to the Amazon’s cultural and historical layers, including influences from the rubber boom era and the heritage of Portugal, Spain, and Peru.
Life on board is shaped around exploration and discovery. Guests take part in expert-led excursions, wildlife encounters, village visits, and guided hikes, all conducted in small groups for a more personal experience. Between outings, the vessel offers a range of social spaces, including a plunge pool, gym, spa, cinema room, and games area, providing opportunities to unwind while remaining closely connected to the surrounding environment.
Operating alongside her sister vessel Aria Amazon, Aqua Nera is fully equipped for adventure and supported by experienced naturalist guides who lead twice-daily excursions throughout the Amazon. Registered in Peru and compliant with International Safety Management (ISM) standards, Aqua Nera delivers a river cruise experience defined by thoughtful design, operational reliability, and a strong connection to its surroundings.
